The United States Golf Association Tuesday announced 23 qualifying sites for this year’s U.S. Women’s Open, to be played May 30-June 2 at Lancaster Country Club.
This year’s United States Women’s Open at Lancaster Country Club will be the highest-paying event in the history of women’s golf, the USGA announced Thursday.
A small gathering — only a dozen people or so — turned out for a town hall meeting about the 2024 U.S. Women’s Open, held Wednesday evening at the Manheim Township Public Library.
The first time is by definition special, but officials believe the 2024 U.S. Women’s Open can be bigger and better than the first time Lancaster hosted the event eight years ago.
The U.S. Women’s Open trophy is scheduled to arrive in Lancaster with a ceremony and celebration on Saturday.
This year’s U.S. Women’s Open, called “the biggest and most important women’s golf event ever to be held,” by NBC’s Morgan Pressel, ended Sunday at fabled Pebble Beach.
The 2024 U.S. Women’s Open at Lancaster Country Club is still nearly a year away, but the run-up the big event is already upon us.
